Who We Are

We are a very unique team of individuals who are well established in the Canadian bookkeeping industry and have a passion for educating those who wish to be better bookkeepers as well as small business owners who wish to understand more about their own books.

We advocate for qualified, certified bookkeepers and believe that small businesses deserve skilled professional bookkeepers who can assist them in learning more about their company’s financial health. We created Trifold Bookkeeper Advisors to promote progress in the profession.

Shelley Rudiger, DFA, CPB, FCPB

I am delighted to be one of the instructors at Trifold Bookkeeper Advisors, and I look forward to being in one of our upcoming classes with you. I will bring my college education, Distinguished Financial Advisor designation knowledge, and over 36 years of bookkeeping experience to our courses.
I currently work with several small business clients across many different industries and the challenges they face will be part of what I will share during our courses, as they are relevant and represent real-life scenarios.

Over the years, I have received wonderful recognition and among them, I have been honored to receive the following:

• CPB Canada’s Fellowship Award (2015)
• Sage’s Circle of Excellence – Trainer of the Year Award (2021)

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping others increase their proficiency, and I taught at the college-level (NAIT and Metro College) for bookkeeping and Sage 50 for over ten years.
I live in Edmonton with my husband and am a ‘pet mom’ to our K9s and cats, as well as a fan and major supporter of all critters and the organizations that protect them.

Marge Wegren-Debre, CPB, FCPB

As a partner in Trifold Bookkeeper Advisors, I bring a love of numbers, great organizational skills and a passion for educating bookkeepers. Having 35 years of experience in this industry and over 22 years as a lead instructor at a local college, much of my time and talent is dedicated to writing curriculum for both manual bookkeeping and accounting software. Course material I have authored over the years has been used at both the college level as well as in private training environments. I am also a published Amazon author.

I was a major contributor to the creation of the bookkeeping certificate program at a local college and for CPB Canada’s Certified Professional (CPB) certification – where I also served terms as a Board member, the Chair of their education committee, and as their National Education Coordinator.

I have been recognized in our industry with the following acknowledgements:

• Intuit’s Top 10 Influencers in Canadian Bookkeeping Award (2018)
• CPB Canada’s Distinguished Service Award (2016)

One of my own career goals is to help bookkeepers become the best they can be, and I am confident that training with Trifold will provide our students with the knowledge they need to become just that.

I live on an acreage in rural Alberta with my husband of 34 years, along with our dog Ruby and our cat Tora.
