Who We Are

We are a very unique team of individuals who are well established in the Canadian bookkeeping industry and have a passion for educating those who wish to be better bookkeepers as well as small business owners who wish to understand more about their own books.

We advocate for qualified, certified bookkeepers and believe that small businesses deserve skilled professional bookkeepers who can assist them in learning more about their company’s financial health. We created Trifold Bookkeeper Advisors to promote progress in the profession.

Here are the major players in that endeavor:

Shelley Rudiger, DFA, CPB, FCPB

Shelley discovered her love of bookkeeping while taking a farm accounting course in college. After obtaining her accounting diploma, her career started at a chartered accountants firm where she spent many years gaining experience and knowledge in the different aspects of business and the needs of different industry customers. From there she spent a few years honing her skills at a private company, and then decided the next step in her career was to start her own bookkeeping company, “Leashing Your Ledgers Bookkeeping Inc.”

Now with over 33 years of bookkeeping experience, Shelley has been a business owner for 15 years, is a Certified Trainer & Speaker, as well as a small business Consultant/Advisor. She has a DFA (Distinguished Financial Advisor Bookkeeping Services Specialist) designation from The Knowledge Bureau, was a long standing volunteer for the IPBC (Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada) Accreditation & Compliance Committee, was a contributor to some of their policies, and was a major team member for the development of the IPBC Tiers. As well, Shelley has presented conference sessions at both Sage and IPBC events.

In 2015 she was awarded an IPBC Fellowship, and maintains top level certifications for Sage 50, Sage Business Cloud Accounting, QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. She is an experienced, qualified college-level instructor for Bookkeeping and Sage 50, and is the main instructor for Trifold’s online courses. She is a contributing editor for our course curriculum and has edited other material as well.

Shelley lives in Edmonton with her husband of 28 years and is a ‘pet mom’ to their K9s Deogee, Jax & Stanley and cats Marley & Oreo and is a fan of all critters.

Dianne Mueller, CPB, FCPB

Dianne is the owner of “Soma Small Business Solutions” – a company she started in 1996, where she provides professional bookkeeping, consulting, training and support to small businesses. She is considered a visionary and thought leader who has an uncanny ‘sixth sense’ when it comes to knowing where the industry is heading next.

With 34 years of bookkeeping experience, Dianne is also a Certified Trainer & Speaker and a small business Consultant / Advisor. She is the co-founder of IPBC, a past Chair of their Board of Directors, and a long-time dedicated volunteer who participated in their original certification along with multiple committees work and policies development. She has presented sessions at Sage, Intuit and IPBC Conferences, held webinars for Sage and IPBC, and delivers monthly seminars to entrepreneurs for Small Business BC.

Her many industry recognitions include recipient of ICB’s LUCA Award, Sage’s Mentorship Award, IPBC’s Fellowship and Distinguished Service Awards, Intuit’s Top 10 Influencers in Canadian Bookkeeping and Sage’s Circle of Excellence–Alan Salmon Lifetime Achievement Award (2019). She holds top level certifications in Sage 50 and Sage Business Cloud Accounting, and is relentless in being “The Bookkeepers Advocate”.

Dianne lives on the coast of British Columbia with her husband of 45 years, and is a ‘dog mom’ to Marlo.

Marge Wegren-Debre, CPB, FCPB

Marge first started bookkeeping with a small business over 35 years ago, when manual bookkeeping in ledger books was what made you a good bookkeeper. Always having had a love of numbers, great organizational skills and a natural talent for attention to detail, her passion for bookkeeping grew and resulted in the creation of a company to serve customers and educate other bookkeepers through “P51 Computing Strategies” – a company which has been in existence for 25+ years.

She is a certified Trainer & Speaker, a small business Consultant / Advisor, a Bookkeeper Mentor / Coach as well as a gifted author / trained exam-writer, having written volumes of curriculum for both manual bookkeeping and Sage 50 software. Her training material is used at the college level and was primarily responsible for certification programs at NAIT. She has presented sessions at various conferences and is very passionate about educating bookkeepers.

She is a past IPBC Board member & long-time volunteer in many areas, and was their National Education Coordinator / Consultant for a number of years, where she played a major role in their CPB certification and the development of their Tiers. She holds both the IPBC’s Fellowship and Distinguished Service Awards, Intuit’s Top 10 Influencers in Cdn. Bookkeeping (2018), maintains top level certification for Sage 50 Accounting and was the recipient of Sage’s Circle of Excellence – Trainer of the Year Award in 2019.

Marge lives near Edmonton with her husband of 31 years and is a ‘pet mom’ to their K9 Ruby and Tora (the cat).
